future pathways
In this section there is information for parents about the support and guidance offered to students throughout their time at SWCHS. The goal being, that this will help them identify and navigate their future pathways, supported by the school and their parents/carers.
For post-16, this would include; Sixth Form, Further Education College, to study A-Level, BTEC/CTEC/T-Levels, Vocational Courses, Apprenticeships or Traineeships. Not all of these are available at SWCHS however we will support and advise students interested in all of these options.
For post-18, this would include; University (including early applications to Oxbridge, Medical and Veterinary Schools), Apprenticeships (up to and including Degree level), Employment, and applications to Drama School, Conservatoire, and support in studying and travelling abroad.
Below you will find a programme outlining the activities and learning for each year group. You will also find a parent/carer roadmap illustrating how parents/carers are able to participate in the key milestones and decisions of their young people.
In addition, here are the links to a number of sites with further information to help guide your person.
